Nursery Photography
WHY?
The toddler and preschool years are precious. In a blink of an eye the children are at school. I aim to provide parents beautiful images that record these early childhood memories. Being able to see your little one happy in their nursery setting is something I value as a mum and want others to have the same.
HOW?
My style is simple and natural, focussing on the personalities of each child. I love to capture it all from the playfulness, intense looks, curiosity, grubby hands and the amazement of learning something new. I will find a way to connect with each child, putting them at ease and allowing them to just be themselves. After all, that's what this is all about - capturing the children just the way they are.
WHY ME?
With two little ones, I understand how chaotic life can be and I love to look through the lens as a mother above everything else. Nothing needs to be perfect
in order to capture kids being themselves.
- As I say, I am a mum to two little kids and know what makes them tick!
- I only partner with a number of local nurseries to ensure I can provide a tailored service as required.
- With your help, I seek permission directly from each parent to take photo’s of their child/ren to reduce the admin on your side. I meticulously safeguard the information I hold.
- I provide parents with online, password protected galleries meaning that all confidential data and images of each child remains secure. Galleries are delivered directly by me, again reducing your time involved in this process.
- I work with a leading professional lab to offer parents high quality digital images and prints at a competitive rate.
WHEN & WHERE?
The best time of year to attend your nursery is from Spring through until the end of Autumn. I appreciate that not all children attend nursery on the same day, so it’s best to attend your setting mid week to maximise the number of children that can be photographed and offer for those who do not usually attend to pop in for a few pictures.
I focus on capturing beautiful portraits typically outdoors. I love using the natural light in my photography.
Routines are important for all children, so I do my best to work around the routine at the nursery making sure that snack time and lunch time are no
different. Well fed kids = happy children!
